The cushions have held up with rowdy kids and a lab who thinks the couch is his bed. It is the perfect combination of comfortable while still having some structure. The vibe for this room was light and airy but also elevated. We don’t have a ton going on in this room so I wanted the couch to feel sort of polished in a room that vibes simple/casual, if that makes sense? I really love the shape and the performance textured linen is generally easy to clean.
Without a doubt, I would purchase this sofa again. As mentioned, I can’t speak to other fabric, but I have been very impressed with the performance tweed upholstery we have. The comfort and quality are definitely worth the price tag, in my opinion. There are many other Performance fabrics in a variety of colors to choose from, including linen, chevron, velvet, boucle, chenille, and more.

Maiden Home furniture is all custom made to order in the United States. While this does mean the lead time is long, it’s worth the wait. From Ikea, to local stores, the quality of this is by far the best I have owned.
It did inspire us to redecorate a bit—we just swapped our rectangular coffee table for this round one from West Elm. Despite the breezy California style, the slipcover and attention to detail (the narrow arms, the well-fitted upholstery) also give it a level of polish, which makes it super versatile. I was also slightly disappointed at the fact that I was notified of the delay through an email and no follow up.

Other folks have commented about shipping issues, so, ditto all that. When the sofa arrived it appeared well constructed. The cushions were amazingly fluffy and took quite a long time to flatten.

The main reason I waited 9 weeks to write this review was because I wanted to test the cushions to see if they retain their shape. The design expert informed me this cushion would require little to no maintenance and I somewhat agree. Since it’s considered a medium relaxed sofa, there is still some maintenance involved. Namely wiping my hands over the seat cushions to minimize ripples in the fabric and flipping the cushions every couple of weeks to ensure even wear. We’re seeing some temporary wrinkles in the back cushions but flipping the cushions periodically makes them look brand new again so I’m really happy about that!

The back cushions are super comfortable and are filled with down, feather and fiber . They do slouch over time, but easily fluff back up, which I do roughly once a week. I also flip these and rotate placement roughly once a month. With that criteria in mind, I searched high and low at places like Pottery Barn, Macy’s, West Elm, Crate & Barrel, and Interior Define. I had heard good things about Maiden Home, and fell in love with their Sullivan sectional. I sent them to a consignment shop 3 months ago.
My biggest concern with buying a higher end sofa was selecting a style that felt timeless. I knew the simpler I went, the more likely we are to still love it 8 years down the road so we landed on The Warren. It has classic straight lines with a very transitional shape. I would happily put it in a casual basement AND a formal living room. Its’ relaxed but classic shape can work in any number of home styles.
